FCCU CONDOLES PASSING OF DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS JAMSHED MARKER

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) expresses its deep condolences on the passing of one its most prominent alumnus, Mr Jamshed Marker.

Mr Jamshed Marker was a veteran diplomat, who served as Pakistan’s ambassador to more countries than any other diplomat, in a career spanning more than three decades. Mr Jamshed Marker also served as United Nations Under-Secretary General, as a special advisor to United Nations ex-Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

During his time at FC College, he was an active student and also played cricket for the College. He was awarded the Distinguished Formanite Award by his alma mater for an illustrious career. Mr Jamshed Marker will be remembered at FCCU as one of its brightest alumni and a diplomat par excellence.
