100+ Attendees Celebrate Groundbreaking FCCU Alumni Women’s Chapter Launch

On April 29, 2025, the Advancement and Alumni Office at FCCU proudly hosted the much-anticipated launch of the FCCU Alumni Women Chapter-a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to celebrating, connecting, and empowering FCCU’s female alumni. With over 100 enthusiastic participants, the event was a vibrant celebration of community, achievement, and shared purpose.

The evening began with a warm welcome by the Head of Advancement and Alumni Office, who set a positive tone for the gathering and emphasized the importance of female alumni engagement. This was followed by an inspiring introduction to the chapter’s vision: to create a dynamic platform where female graduates can engage in meaningful networking, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and unity, with alumnae from diverse professions and backgrounds coming together to champion women’s empowerment.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Badia Raza, Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer, emphasized the critical role of alumni engagement and the transformative impact of women supporting women. She encouraged attendees to remain actively involved and to help shape the future direction of the chapter.

A highlight of the evening was the interactive session, where alumnae shared insightful ideas, thoughtful feedback, and creative suggestions for upcoming initiatives-from professional development seminars to social impact projects. Their input laid the groundwork for a strong and collaborative network.

The event also featured a light entertainment session, adding a joyful and relaxed element to the gathering. Laughter, storytelling, and shared memories brought everyone closer, creating a memorable sense of connection and camaraderie.

A special moment of the evening was the presentation of a custom-designed souvenir, created exclusively for this occasion, as a token of appreciation for the attendees. It served as a meaningful keepsake and a reminder of the power of connection and community.
